Los Roques is a Venezuelan archipelago located in the Caribbean Sea at 168 km. north of Caracas. Because of its beauty and ecological importance it has been declared national park in 1972
The airport is located at the Gran Roque, the biggest of 50 islands and the only one inhabited.
The other most visited islands are Francisqui, Nordisqui, Madrisqui and Crasqui.
The primary characteristic of Los Roques is a huge number of lagoons and keys with coralline sand beaches and a variety of crystalline blue waters.
